Barton Cabin

Only one structure remains from the original fort at Bluff. This was the home of the Joseph and Harriet Richards Barton family. The structure is open for visitors to view inside and out. Over time it was expanded from its original, one-room format, to meet the needs of the growing family. This home was occupied until the 1950s, and provided the model for the other cabins in today's fort.
